This is a lovely disc of some rather Schumannesque keyboard musings that are both refreshing and provocative. If one were able somehow to extract the influence of all that was most mad, hysteric, demonic, and bitter from the work of Robert Schumann, the result would probably be quite close to the work of Hermann Goetz.
